Family Guy - 04x01 North by North Quahog

Summary: When Peter crashes the car on the way to their second honeymoon, he is determined to make it up to Lois. He ends up posing as Mel Gibson to use his private room at a new hotel, and once there they discover a secret upcoming movie: "The Passion of Christ 2". In order to save the world from viewing another Passion movie, Peter steals the film. Meanwhile, back at home, Stewie and Brian pose as parents. And Chris gets falsely accused for drinking at a school dance.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: Stewie has a Garfield comic book which he says is named Garfield at Large, which is the first Garfield book, and he reads from it a comic strip with the character Nermal in it. Nermal didn't debut until the third Garfield book, Garfield Bigger than Life.
CONT: Whenever there is a shot of the street outside of the hotel, the same truck and cars drive by.
CONT: During the car chase, at first you can see the garage door opener on the driver’s side visor, but it disappears when they go into the building, then reappears again.

The license plate of Brian's car is "Bri-Dog".
WILHELM SCREAM: During the car chase through the mall. As the priests, who are chasing Peter and Lois, swerve and nearly hit the piano player in the mall.
In the opening scene, Peter lists 29 shows that have been canceled by FOX after short runs in the last few years. Not only is this a joke at how FOX cannot keep many shows around (Peter says that "Family Guy" itself was canceled to make room for these "terrific shows"), but the last mentioned, "Greg the Bunny" (2002), is a reference to a short lived show starring Seth Green, the voice of Chris Griffin on "Family Guy". Also, "That '80s Show" (2002), another show mentioned, ran a few episodes and was based on "That '70s Show" (1998), which stars Mila Kunis, the voice of Meg Griffin. Peter also mentions "The Tick" (2001), where Patrick Warburton, who voices Joe Swanson, played the title character, and "Titus" (2000), in which Alex Borstein, who voices Lois Griffin, made an appearance during one episode.
A joke about John Ritter's role in "8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter" (2002) was deleted from this episode because the writers found one of their own jokes too distasteful to broadcast, due to his death. It was replaced with a joke about George Lopez (I).
