Summary: When Peter discovers that their house is not part of Quahog, or even the United States, he forms his own country: Petoria. However when he feels that he is not being respected as a country, he invades Joe's pool. This worries the US, and they stage a war with Petoria, cutting the Griffin's off from heat, water, and electricity. Lois and the kids abandon Petoria, while Peter is stubborn and calls in support from other countries.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: When Peter tells the story of his ancestor Ulysses S. Griffin, after he finishes his beer first, he places the mug on his head. In the shot of him saying, "Deal," the mug is back on the table. At the next shot, the mug is back on his head.
FACT: When Peter is at the United Nations, the delegate from Albania is sitting next to him. Later the Iraqi delegate mentions he's in the third row. Countries in the U.N. are seated alphabetically.

TRIVIA

The Griffin's live at 31 Spooner Street, Quahog, Rhode Island.
The title is based on the United States' motto found on the Great Seal, "E. pluribus unum", Latin for "Out of many, one."
When Mayor Adam West (I) is showing Peter that his home is not on the map and it zooms (briefly) into a close-up of the map, you can see the names of different streets, one of them is called "McFar Lane" in reference to Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane, though it's interesting to note that the street isn't the exact spelling of the creator's name.
Peter mentions that he can't get over "Party of Five" (1994) being canceled. Both "Family Guy" and "Party of Five" were canceled and brought back after letter writing campaigns by fans. In addition, Lacey Chabert who voiced Meg Griffin in season one and part of season two was a regular cast member on "Party of Five."
