Summary: Chris hates the Youth Scouts and decides to quit, but he is too ashamed to tell Peter why so he says that he was kicked out. A furious Peter packs up the family planning to go to New York in order to get Chris back in the scouts, but a wrong turn takes them to a Native Indian Casino where Lois becomes addicted to the slots and ends up loosing the car to the owners. In order to get it back Peter and Chris must go on a "spiritual quest" into the woods, where Peter gets some advice from the Fonz.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: After Lois loses the car the Griffins are all sitting in the hotel room. In the first shot of the hotel room the border at the top of the wall is blue, red and orange. But in every shot after that the border is blue, white and red.
CONT: When The Griffins leave to go to New York in their car, Meg and Chris swap places.
CONT: When Stewie is sitting on Lois's lap watching TV and Peter comes in, at first his book his blue then it is red.
CONT: When Chris shows Peter his drawing in the forest, in the shot before, there was no drawing on either side.
CONT: When Brian is watching TV at first the remote is on the right hand side and there is an olive in his glass, but in the next shot the olive is gone and the remote in on the left hand side.

TRIVIA

Peter's "Canada Sucks" comment at the end of the episode sparked angry letters from Canadians. Funny thing is, the writer of this episode, Ricky Blitt, is a Canadian himself.
We first learn that Chris is a talented artist during this episode, but this isn't brought up again until the Season Two episode "A Picture's Worth a Thousand Bucks," during which Chris becomes a famous artist.
The title is based on the 1926 Ernest Hemingway novel "The Sun Also Rises".
