Summary: Andy finds himself on the set of a gritty drama about atrocities in the Balkans, directed by Hollywood star Ben Stiller (playing himself). However, the aspiring bit-part player is fed up with his lot, and decides to do whatever it takes to get himself noticed.

Mistakes/Goofs

Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Near the end of the episode, when Andy is complaining about receiving the journalist part with fewer lines, he is given the part of Journalist 2, comments about how much more Journalist 1 has and asks Goran to make him Journalist 2, not 1.

Trivia

According to Ricky Gervais, Ben Stiller's rant at the end was largely improvised.
Originally filmed as the second episode, but was broadcast first because Ben Stiller was better-known to American audiences than Ross Kemp, who guest starred in the original pilot. The correct order is restored on the DVD.
The scene where Ben Stiller tells an extra how to beat up an old lady with the butt of a gun was completely ad libbed.
