Episode 18 - It is revealed on Sheriff Carter's airline ticket to Australia that Eureka is in the state of Oregon.
Episode 07 - "110 in the Shade" could also be referencing the musical of the same name by N. Richard Nash, Tom Jones, and Harvey Schmidt. Based on Nash's 1954 play The Rainmaker... staring Darren McGavin (of "A Christmas Story" fame).
Episode 02 - The test pattern after the 'Lab 27 Reality Show' has an Indian in a full headdress, just like the 1950s real test pattern, except the Indian is Fargo.
Episode 07 - After the second sun is bolstered the first time, Jo phones Carter and informs him the temperature is "110 in the shade", most likely a reference to the song by John Fogerty, with the same name (110 in the shade), a widely popular classic rock title.
Episode 07 - The chip on the data module that Zane pulls from the Biometric reader shows the current day 'Realtek' company logo.
