Summary: At the bookstore, a coffee shop has been built and Joe has been hired as the manager, which makes Ellen his boss. However, Ellen becomes uncomfortable being Joe's boss and the two quickly become enemies. Meanwhile, Ellen misinterprets Steve's actions and hits on him in order to find out if Steve was really coming on to her or not. However, things go wrong when Holly, Steve's girlfriend, sees Ellen hitting on him and Ellen is left to convince Holly that Steve made a pass at her first.
