Joel Abrigore is a mysterious stranger who comes to Denver to help his girlfriend Rita Leslie to impersonate Krystle Carrington. In return, Sammy Jo will give her a share of her fathers heritage that Krystle is in charge of.



Joe is unsuccessful film director and he wants to do a good job directing this show with Krystle. He kidnaps her and keeps her hostage at the "Delta Rho" and Rita takes her place in the Carrington mansion. Sammy Jo and Rita are more and more scared of this action while Joe falls in love with his captive Krystle.



With the help of naïve Rita, he starts poisoning Blake determined to get away from Denver with Blake's money and Krystle. When Blake sleeps into a coma, Sammy Jo gets scared and helps her aunt escape. Sammy Jo confesses the truth to the police.



Joe and Rita get in a fight and have a car accident while trying to leave Denver. Police concludes they both got away from the crash site but because of the crime they have committed, their only directing and acting skills will be running from the police.
