This was a great show but it could be sloppy from time to time. I'll give you some examples. When the Doctor gets mortally wounded, he regenerates. But I've seen 8-10 other Time Lords get mortally wounded and they died. The episodes these deaths were on were 'The War Games', 'Arc of infinity', 'The five Doctors', etc. It's been said that Time Lords do not age and can live forever if they're not mortally wounded but William Hartnell's Doctor regenerated because of old age. Tom Baker was my favorite Doctor. Thank God that he starred as the Doctor for 7 years instead of 3 years like most of the other actors did. The ? mark on the Doctor's collars was stupid and so were the multiple ? marks on Sylvester McCoy's sweater. Who the hell did they think the Doctor was? The Riddler? My 2nd favorite Doctor was Jon Pertwee. His personality was better than his former incarnation's personality. Patrick Troughton actually seemed scared where Pertwee's Doctor kicked people's asses. This was a great show. That's why it ran for 26 years. It ran much much longer than Star Trek. |

Where did they go all the ones that were here a couple of weeks ago??? If I knew you would take them away I would have watched all of them. there were at least 20 of them to stream or download. Torrents are blocked here and this was my last chance to get those old favorites.:^( |

Been a Whovian for most of my life and so of course I love the classic show. I turn a blind eye at some of the 'wobbly' sets but that's just part of it's charm. Had some great stories like Genesis of the Daleks, Pyramids of Mars, Caves of Androzani... I'm still rewatching the show and collecting all of the existing stories. Too bad we can't see most of Patrick Troughton's (second Doctor) stories as they were lost... |
