Summary: The Master plays a deadly game of chess with the Doctor, who can only outmaneuver him for so long before the trap is sprung. Determined to shake him off and restore the TARDIS chameleon circuit, the Doctor travels to the planet Logopolis, the calculations from which are the solution to almost any problem stranded in theoretical improbability.But Logopolis also carries a dark secret, one that threatens the universe with life-ending entropy and collapse, a secret that piece by piece, is being taken apart as the Master kills the planet's population. But realising the damage he has done, the Master proposes an alliance with the Doctor to save what is left.
