I can't recommend this show enough; it really is just fantastic. Funny and serious, dramatic and silly--it's the best of everything, and really draws you in and grips you. helpful comment/review

Favourite so far was definitely the Shakespeare episode. David Tennant is fantastic as the Doctor- it's so surprising to hear him speak with a natural Scottish accent! helpful comment/review

I have to agree with Ravendon, the first three episodes of season 2 are all wrong. Christmas Invasion, Attack of the Graske, and Children in Need all aired months before season 2 began. Episode 1 should be "New Earth", aired on April 15, 2006. Episode 2 is "Tooth and Claw," airdate is April 22, 2007. And episode 3 is "School Reunion", from April 29, 2007. helpful comment/review

Umm, these episodes are incorrect. School Reunion is 2x13 and one of the best episodes ever, featuring a reunion between the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith, but isn't featured. Attack of the Graskes is a one off spoof that doesn't fit into the continuity and isn't considered part of canon. helpful comment/review

it's very clever and i've loved watching david tennant(nee mcdonald) generally ripping everything to bits, i'm a bit sceptical about catherine tate as the new companion though, bring back the brigadier and his handlebar hell helpful comment/review

Rather a negative view. Lasted around 25 years last time. The new series works on so many levels, the excitement and pace for the younger generation and the relationships & depth of characters for us oldies.

I hope it last for longer than your pessimistic estimation, so that my son can grow up with Doctor Who as I did.
