Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (revealing mistake): (at around 47 mins) When Brian first looks at the Earth (from outer space), it is a mirror image (Spain on the right, Middle East on the left). In the next shot it is a normal image.

Trivia

  • The role of Solomon was written for a man in his 50s but played by David Bradley who was around 69 at time of filming.
  • The idea of Nefertiti running away with John Riddell, is actually quite plausible due to the complete historical gap in the later years of her life.
  • David Bradley (Solomon) would later play William Hartnell the first Doctor Who in An adventure in Space and Time (2013).
  • The part of John Riddell was written for a man in his 30s but played by Rupert Graves who was 48 at the time of filming.
