Episode Quotes
Lucy Hayward: [Prologue] My name is Lucy Hayward. And I'm the last one left. It's funny. You don't know what's going to be in your room until you see it. Then you realize it could never have been anything else. The gaps between my worship are getting shorter. This is what happened to the others. It's all so clear now. I'm so happy. Praise him. Praise him.
The Doctor: Okay, this is bad. At the moment, I don't know how bad, but certainly we're three buses, a long walk and eight quid in a taxi from good.
The Creature: An ancient creature, drenched in the blood of the innocent, drifting in space through an endless shifting maze. For such a creature, death would be a gift.
Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (continuity error): In the beginning of the episode, as Lucy Hayward is moving down the hotel corridor she opens three doors. Two of them have the number 214.
- Goof (revealing mistake): Digital effects are used to extend the street the Doctor leaves Amy and Rory on, but the real brick wall that forms the dead end is still visible over Rory's shoulder in one shot.
- Goof (continuity error): The Doctor eats an apple, despite claiming to hate apples, in "Doctor Who" (2005) {The Eleventh Hour (#5.1)}.
Trivia
- The Doctor's room is #11.
- The pictures seen on the walls throughout the episode show various aliens the Doctor has encountered such as Silurian, a Sontaren, a Judoon and a Sister of Plenitude (cat nun).
- Amy's room is #7, which is her age when she first met (and waited for) the Doctor.
