Summary: In a distant galaxy, a spaceship hurtles out of control towards a boiling sun with the Doctor and Martha trapped on board. They've only got 42 minutes to uncover the saboteurs, but, with a mysterious force starting to possess the ship's crew, the Doctor is running out of time. The TARDIS lands on a spaceship, in a distant galaxy, but the spaceship is out of control and falling into a nearby sun! A mysterious entity is possessing the ship's crew, with deadly consequences. The Doctor and Martha only have 42 minutes to save the ship, it's crew and themselves!

In the commentary for this episode, Russell T. Davies stated that he prefers the Doctor in the blue suit when going to the future and the brown suit when going to the past.
Martha Jones gets a key to the TARDIS, the second of two signs that she's the new companion (the other being her cell phone upgraded).
SPOILER: Michelle Collins (I) filmed her death scene on the first day of shooting.
The Doctor wears his blue suit for the entire episode however, once he exits the TARDIS and is on board the spaceship, the red lighting makes it look as though he is wearing his brown suit.
SPOILER: Mr. Saxon Reference: Francine works with government agents to find Martha (and thereby, The Doctor) who tell her that "Mr. Saxon will be very grateful" for her cooperation
