Peaceful humanoid Valorans escape destruction of their planet (by the Rulons) by time travelling to prehistoric Earth. The Rulons follow them bent on destruction. Both find themselves trapped on a planet of dinsosaurs. When the reptilian Rulons force the dinosaurs to serve as vehicles, loading them with weapons and armor, the Valorans use telepathic powers to elicit help from other dinosaurs.

In fact, Latta had no involvement in the series at all. There are still conflicting reports as to who actually provided the voice for Rasp, it is believed to be either Frank Welker or Charles Adler.
