p0pc0rn Oct 22, 2007 6:13AM	:) I spent some time yesterday gathering points, just so I could post to tell qooguy to not put spoilers on: there are a lot of people on here that haven't seen the first season yet. but jakewastaken beat me to the punch in the time it took me to gather those points. that said, I still would like to comment that I love this show. it is weird how this can be all about blood and murder and still remain so clean. how there is still suspense without horror. one of the shows I really look forward to to watch the next episode	+2
qooguy Oct 21, 2007 2:58AM	I watched season one in one go and got really caught up. The Ice Truck Killer is his brother, of course. This season we have Keith Carradine as Dexter's nemesis, great casting! He was awesome as Buffalo Bill in Tombstone and plays the FBI expert here with perfect pitch. The writers have to watch out that Dexter seems too perfect. I for one want to see someone who is a match him and we might have that in his NA sponsor, the woman who sees through him and a potential rival to his girlfriend.	+5
gioles Oct 19, 2007 2:03PM	Love the character. Has deep, smart look in his eyes, observes, listens to others and doesn't talk too much. Its great how the viewer gets to know him by listening to his thoughts..gives you the feeling you're on his side when he lies to others ;)	+1
lokifer Oct 18, 2007 5:33AM	The opening sequence makes me sick to my stomach every time. It's great. Dexter renewed my love for smart television. Everyone associated with this series has outdone himself or herself. The writing is genius, the acting is flawless, the characters are so fleshed out, and even the sets are pretty spectacular. Who knew you could root for a sociopathic serial killer, cheering him on both to kill his victims and to make his relationships work? Fantastic show, strongly recommended to everyone.	+9

mosh Oct 9, 2007 6:30PM	Ok. After 'eating' season 01, i'm making my review. This show is awesome (as we, almost, all agree), not just the main character but the backgrounds and the sorroundings - everything in this show seems like it was over thought and analysed again. [SPOILER WARNING] Take 'Deb' for exemple, the way she complets and does no effect on His daily 'life' at all. "Keeping him sharp". But yeah, what i really enjoy is seeing how the main character 'works'. Even if his [person] moves (body, day-by-day) make him flawed, his character surelly doesn't. Its past is well written, giving us the pieces just when we need'em and just a bit before, the "inside listener" thing they do (when we listen to his thoughts).. clever! The hole chanelysing [spealling?] idea was clever too, giving the viewer the answer to the first question: "why?" I thought the show was loosing some quallity on the killing, about when Ice Trcuk starts dating Deb, and Dex gets all puzzled but still's able to grab it. But soon it got explained [i wont be THAT spoiler!], and i almost "cum" [hihi, try linking that up :P]. Other characters worth mentioning, are his (Cuban) partner Angel, one police detective (Doakes) and his father Harry. All 3 have their peculiar role, but i was spoiling it (even more) if i continued.	+3

viciouslollipop Oct 7, 2007 2:08AM	I just DL'ed the first season, and started watching it not to long ago. FABULOUS!!! What struck me about the pilot episode, was how very Dregnet-esque it was, in a sort of offbeat homicidal way. I am trying not to watch it back to back, so as to make it last, but that's not working out to well for me, seeings how it's such a great show!!!!!	+1

mldmog Oct 5, 2007 7:59AM	Excellent show! Dexter is one of the best characters in years. The time that they take with the characters is very insightful. I am constantly trying to put myself in their shoes, and ask what would I do, and how would I react.	+1

cameragrl Sep 18, 2007 4:16PM	I just discovered this show here on this site. I was intrigued but a little confused since it wasn't ep 1 here. I went out and rented first disc of first season and now I'm hooked! The acting is superb, I love all the characters and the fact that it's set in sultry Miami is very cool. Love the Cuban element.	+1

dalbass1972 Sep 14, 2007 6:57AM	the genius of this show is that it makes you cheer for a sociapathic serial killer. Not something that you would do under normal circumstances thats for sure. Great characterisations and i love the banter between Dexter and Dokes. Genuinely funny. Great show	+4
