MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: Dexter says the mystery blood was "loaded with Coumadin and heparin," and Masuka explains, "One is an anticoagulant, the other is a preservative." Both are anticoagulants. Also, Coumadin is an oral anticoagulant that works with the liver to decrease the clotting factors in a person's blood. The ice truck killer would have had to give it to his victims for 3-4 days (while keeping them alive) for it to thin their blood. As a former medical student Dexter would have known that.
CREW: When Dexter returns to the hotel room, the steadicam spins around him and the shadow can be briefly seen on Dexter.
FACT: Rita is investigated by the nonexistent Dade County Sheriff's Department. What exists in its place is the Miami-Dade Police Department.
CREW: After Dexter gets the jar of blood they cut to Debra getting out of a red car. The crane is clearly reflected in the rear windshield.
