John Lacey is a forty something language teacher at a Comprehensive school. He has everything; a steady job, beautiful wife, nice house, loving son and a car. Until one day he comes home from work to find a letter from his wife informing him that their relationship is over because she has fallen in love with his ex-best friend Mike, a rugby playing welshman. John's life then takes a dramatic turn.
