A two part mini series remake of the classic movie of the same title. A post apocalyptic drama. The vast majority of Britain's population is struck blind after watching an intense Solar storm. Triffid plants are accidentally released and become flesh eating (preferring humans of course). Bill works with his father to clone a genetic mutation to sterilise the Triffids. Contains adult themes.
