Summary: Bessie forces Joey, accompanied by Dawson, goes to visit her father on his birthday which tear opens some old wounds, but heals others. Joey and Dawson finally share there feelings together, but then Joey is offered the chance of a lifetime: to spend a semester in France. Meanwhile, Jen struggles to keep her family together as her grandfather is rushed to the hospital.
