Season 1 Trivia

  • Episode 10 - Several costumes from the film Dangerous Liaisons were used in the scenes set in 1790, notably two dresses originally worn by Glenn Close and Uma Thurman.
  • Episode 02 - Goof (continuity error): When Dr. Hoffman first tries to find Barnabas in his house, Willie is wearing jeans and a shirt. As they first begin to go downstairs, Willie is wearing pajamas and a bathrobe. As they go down further, Willie is back to wearing jeans and a shirt.
  • Episode 10 - Goof (anachronisms): Halfway into the episode, Barnabas is seeking to hide from the sunlight in the basement of the Collins house. Interestingly enough, he lays down next to a bag that says "70 KILOS". It's unlikely that the word would appear on a bag of grain (or whatever) at the time (1795). Collin
  • Episode 09 - Writer Matthew Hall is the son of writer Sam Hall and actress Grayson Hall, both of whom worked on the original series of Dark Shadows.
