The Misery ChickEpisode: 01x13 (Season 01 Episode #13) Originally Aired: Jul. 21, 1997 Plot: A goal post is named after Tommy Sherman, a former Lawndale High football star, and he comes back to Lawndale for the ceremony. While there, he is a jerk to everyone and dubs Daria "the misery chick". Daria and Jane joke about how they wished he was dead, but their joke comes true when the goal post falls on Tommy. Thinking she knows a lot about death, the other students come to Daria for advice, and Jane avoids Daria when she begins to feel bad about what happened. |
