Katie Connor is Ellen Parsons' friend. A vivacious young woman with an outgoing personality, she tries to help Ellen reconnect with the world following the murder of David Connor, her brother and Ellen's fiancé. Despite her best intentions, Katie's actions create ever-increasing problems for Ellen.
