Goof (factual errors): Throughout this film the junior soldiers were referred to as Privates. As members of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers their generic rank is not Private but Fusilier.
Goof (factual errors): On 6 Feb 2002 all serving members of the military and emergency services with five years' service were awarded the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal. ACC Lawrence is not wearing the ribbon on her uniform even though the action takes place in 2003. She is, however, wearing the ribbon of the Police Exemplary Service Medal.
Goof (continuity error): A car that has crashed down a Scottish hillside ends up on a rock in an immobile position. In a later shot, it has moved, apparently all by itself, into a completely different position. Yet in a later shot still, it has moved back again to its original position.
Goof (continuity error): When Pascoe is driving with Kath in the Police Range Rover, there is a blue sticker in the upper left corner of the windscreen. The sticker disappears and reappears between shots of Pascoe.
Goof (continuity error): When Pascoe returns to find his hotel room trashed, the camera pans the destruction as the audience hears the hotel room door close. When the shot returns to Pascoe, the door is still slowly swinging shut.
