Walter Simmons: Get out of here, before we arrest you for extreme stupidity.
09x10 - Match Made in Hell Season 9 / Episode 10: - Match Made in Hell

Ricky Tobar: I said I'm not talking until my lawyer gets here.
Eric Delko: [laughs] Your lawyer? H, who do you think pays for this guy's lawyer?
Lieutenant Horatio Caine: That would be mister Paul Nichols, Ricky's boss.
Eric Delko: He's not your lawyer, Ricky. He's your boss's lawyer. He's here to protect your boss.
Lieutenant Horatio Caine: By setting you up to take the fall, Ricky.
Eric Delko: Now, we know you attacked Matthew, and that's good for at least attempted. It's not too far from there to murder.

Season 9 Trivia

  • Episode 06 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Natalia professes not to know why the Statue of Liberty is green. Her character, an expert in chemistry, could not possibly be unaware what color copper turns when it oxidizes.
  • Episode 07 - Goof (factual errors): The sabots (plastic jackets) are found intact near the target. Sabots are designed to discard just after they (and the bullet) leave the barrel. The spin from rifling cause the sabot to break apart and separate from the bullet. The pieces of the sabot would lead the CSI's to the shooter&
  • Episode 16 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Walter is questioning Henri in French, he alternates between both words for "you" in that language, "tu" (informal) and "vous" (formal). Ordinarily, one would use only one or the other.
  • Episode 07 - Goof (revealing mistake): The 'zip gun' rifle has no grooves to spin and stabilize the bullet. This, along with the pipe 'barrel' being 2 to 3 times the size of the .223 bullet would make it impossible to hit the broad side of a barn (or CSI building) from the distance shown.
  • Episode 17 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Wolfe and Simmons are worried because they only have three tries to find a password before a hard-drive is erased. Since they have a copy of the hard drive, they could make other copies and try as many passwords as they wanted.
