Episode 23 - SPOILER: This episode is the first to indicate that Grissom is starting to go deaf.
Episode 14 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Sarah says the finger is severed 'just below the right intercostal joint.' Costal refers to ribs, so such joints are not found in the finger. The finger was actually severed at the metacarpal phalangeal joint.

Episode 22 - Goof (factual errors): When figuring out what the criminal's "fruity scent" is caused from, Grissom tells Katherine that it's because of Diabetic Ketoacetosis, which is treated with Novolin Insulin. This, however, cannot be the case since Ketoacetosis is, in fact, a very debilitating complication
Episode 22 - Goof (revealing mistake): Mina Rittle's corpse is clearly seen to be breathing when she is pulled out of the canal.
