Goof (factual errors): The second victim is supposedly killed by having molten gold poured down his throat. Later, it supposedly turns out to have been 'fool's gold' aka iron pyrite. However, it is impossible to kill someone in this manner with pyrite because it does not melt. Instead, it chemically decomposes above 743° Celsius.

"Malice in Wonderland" is a quite frequent "twisted" reference to Lewis Carroll's 1865 book "Alice in Wonderland". Movies with the *exact* same title have been made in 1982, 1985 and 2009. It has also been used as a name of two TV episodes of two other series. But it is also the name of the 1977 studio album by Paice, Ashton and Lord; the Scottish hard rock band Nazareth's album released in 1980; a Norwegian rock band that started in 1997; and finally, Snoop Dogg's album released in 2009 (though spelled as "Malice n Wonderland").
While David (Wallace Langham) and Olivia (Jaclyn Smith) are being held hostage in the ambulance, a police transmission is heard over the CB radio containing the call number "charlie." This is, no doubt, deliberate as Smith is one of the original cast members of Charlie's Angels.
