Episode Quotes

Grissom: [after getting attacked] [to Catherine] I'm fine.
Catherine Willows: [touches his wound on his neck] Nasty. Kinda looks like a hicky. [he pushes her hand away]
Captain Jim Brass: [to a suspect] That stare doesn't work on me. Keep it though - they'll love it in prison.
Captain Jim Brass: [checking the beaten Vic's driver's license] Tony Sciarra from Philadelphia.
Grissom: So much for brotherly love.

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (factual errors): During the facial reconstruction, the large plasma screen used has a 16:9 format, while the actual computer screen running the software is a standard 4:3 format. The image on the plasma screen is clearly the 4:3 image, stretched (and thus distorted) to fill the 16:9 screen. A real crime lab would obviously *not* distort the image (and thus change the proportions of the face shown) - the whole point of the facial reconstruction is to find the correct proportions of how the face looked like.
