As with many other sci-fi television shows, Crusade was a program that attempted to capitalize on the success of it's 'parent' show, in this case, Babylon 5.

It's fatal flaw however, was going too far afield from the original series to begin with, notwithstanding the Babylon 5 movie that preceeded it. With both good and poor casting choices, this wanted series quickly fell flat and was therefore cancelled.
