- The show had a complete cast overhaul for the third season, keeping only one of the characters, Sgt. Ali McCormick (Julie Stewart), from the previous two seasons. In fact, Stewart is the only cast member to appear in all the episodes of all seven seasons.
- Although this is the third episode shown, it's the television pilot where the characters and the conception of the "Cold Squad" are introduced.
