Summary: An escaped jewel thief is recaptured and his case takes a new twist when it is discovered he has been holding a hostage---the woman he used to help him break out more than a year ago. Her testimony is what Annabeth plans to use to put the man away for good this time, but the woman appears to be suffering from Stockholm syndrome and is unwilling to speak against her captor.
