Summary: Annabeth and Maureen prosecute a case involving two step-siblings, Scott and Tracy Fields, whose parents are found murdered after discovering a secret about the teenagers. Meanwhile, Maureen and Annabeth admit that they sometimes envy each other's life--Maureen wishes she had a family at home, while Annabeth wishes she did not have to be responsible for anyone but herself.
