Episode Quotes

Ellie Bartowski: I can't believe your *idiot* friends ruined my wedding. I'm just - I'm *never* going to forgive Morgan for this!
Chuck Bartowski: Well, I think you're going to have to. Because Moragan, and Jeff and Lester, they only did what I asked them to do.
Ellie Bartowski: What?
Chuck Bartowski: *I* did all this. I forgot your rings. So I asked them to stall. So if you're going to be mad at someone, you should be mad at me... Please say something.
Ellie Bartowski: You... ruined... *the* most important day in my life!
Chuck Bartowski: Ellie, you have to trust me, all right? Take these. [Hands Ellie the rings] And I'll take care of the rest. Trust me.
Chuck Bartowski: See? Guys can hug.
John Casey: Not if they don't have their man parts.
Woody: [Referring to Jeff and Lester] Why are you letting Sam Kinison and an Indian lesbian wreck your wedding? [Takes a drink]
Devon 'Captain Awesome' Woodcomb: Dad, just chill out. Okay?

Trivia

  • In the season finale "Chuck vs. the Ring," the big wedding is delayed by Chuck's friends Jeff and Lester, as their band "Jeffster," performing Styx's "Mr. Roboto." This episode also features Tony Hale, who appeared as the driver lip-syncing "Mr. Roboto" in a famous Volkswagon commercial touting their then-brand-new six-speaker cassette system.
  • We learn that Steve Bartowski had invented and tested the original Intersect on himself, saying he did it 20 years ago. This is a nod to Scott Bakula's series, Quantum Leap, which premiered 20 years ago in 1989. Bakula's character, Sam Beckett, was a physicist/computer genius who had tested the Quantum Leap Accelerator he invented, on himself.
  • Chuck's full name is Charles Irving Bartowski. Written on the check given to him by the Government for his work on the Intersect Project.
  • Ellie's full name is Eleanore Faye Bartowski. Revealed by the Justice of the Peace at the wedding.
  • Captain Awesome's real name is Devon Christian Woodcomb. Revealed by the Justice of the Peace at the Wedding.
