First appearance of The Triad which appears throughout the rest of the series.
In this episode Prue is shown as a teen with bangs and braces. All the Halliwell sisters have been shown to have bangs and braces as teens. Piper in the season 3 episode "Coyote Piper", Phoebe in the season 6 episode "Hyde School Reunion" and Paige in the season 4 episode "A Paige from the Past".
The title is based upon the warning to be wary of magical gifts, "Be careful what you wish for".
