Summary: When Phoebe has a vision of herself being burnt to death, the sisters travel ten years into the future to learn what happened. Once there they discover Phoebe used her powers to kill someone, which caused a local DA to begin modern day witch trials as a platform for political office. As Prue and Piper try to save Phoebe, they both are surprised and somewhat disappointed to learn how their lives turn out.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: The sisters find a spell in the Book of Shadows to send them into the future with an associated return spell. After traveling to the future, they find the Book and Piper comments that the return spell is no longer in the Book. However, when Prue is later seen flipping through the future version of the Book, the return spell is clearly there.

TRIVIA

According to the series’ Stunt Coordinator in the Charmed season eight DVD bonus features, the effect of Prue's telekinesis destroying the attic in this episode was accomplished by rigging every object in the room to strings which were then tied to a Chevy Suburban truck. When Prue flicks her hand on camera the driver is cued to accelerate the truck on the other side of the attic window. This caused all the tied objects to crash through both the attic window and wall to dramatic effect.
