Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (factual errors): Esposito claims the FBI SUV was shot up with "cop killer" bullets that were Teflon coated, explaining the penetration of the bullet-proof windows. Armor piercing bullets have hardened steel cores, which penetrate, the Teflon coating only helps protect the gun barrel from damage.
- Goof (continuity error): Any time Beckett and Sorenson are eating the donuts, the amount of uneaten donut changed between shots.
- Goof (revealing mistake): At several points in season one the outside of the police station in which Beckett works can be seen, and the sign reads "9th precinct". However, on the inside, especially on the elevator doors, and through dialogue it is actually the 12th Precinct.
