A visually stunning show with stunning production values, including powerfully haunting musical score. The cast was excellent and grew into their roles as the series progressed. Outstanding in all respects. Get the DVD set! |

A very surrealistic presentation that should have gone on and on. A show like this had a chance to become outstanding, but premium channels have limited viewership. Pity. |

In terms of the cast, writing, cinematography and unbridled creativity, this has to be one of the best shows ever produced. BUT, *HUGE* cast (w/ extras), ALL shot on-location . . . $$$$$ for the producers. There are, however, lots of fan fiction sites that attempt to keep the magic alive. Just search for Carnivale fan fiction, because I don't think it's gonna come back any time soon . . . sniffle. |
