Captain N & the Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3
- According to the Writer's Bible bonus disc on the DVD, Princess Toadstool is 17 years old.
- The Writer's Bible section of the DVD states that Bully/Roy Koopa is the oldest of the Koopa Kids. This clashes with the games, which claim Kooky/Ludwig Von Koopa is the oldest of the Kids.
- On the DVD, the "remade popular music" was edited out and replaced with the "Mega Move" instrumental; piece, just like on the Captain N DVD.
- Some of the background music used in this episode is slightly different in terms of instruments and pitch compared to the other episodes in the series.
- This episode and Sneaky Lying Cheating Giant Ninja Koopas are the only two episodes that use classical music in the series.
- Toad appears in this episode, but he doesn't say a single word at all in it.
- This episode is a parody of the comic book series "Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtles" which had an animated adaptation at the time.
- On the syndicated runs, this is the only episode to show the original title after the episode introduction (coming up as Captain N and the Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 instead of a straight fade out).
- This is the only episode where Mario and Luigi tell the "episode" to stop and start the background music.
- This episode is 115 in production order which is also exactly the same in air order which only a few of the episodes do.
- When this segment was featured on the series DVD, all music was edited out and replaced with a generic instrumental tune. Yet strangely, all other references to Milli Vanilli remained intact.
- When this segment first aired, Milli Vanilli had not yet been exposed as frauds.
- This is the only episode of DiC's Mario cartoon series in which Mario does not appear.
- This is the only episode that plays the Water Land music in the series.
- At the end of the episode, The Venice Pizzaman says Lou Albano. Lou Albano was the voice of Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! (1989) which is the series before this one.
