Episode Quotes

Max: Glad you made it. I was beginning to wish I'd brought a magazine.
Michael Westen: There was a guard change at the front entrance. Isn't knowing that supposed to be your job as senior field officer?
Max: Handling that kind of your job as operative extraordinaire?
Michael Westen: Oh, but that's not my title. Until my burn notice is officially lifted, I'm just a "civilian intelligence asset".
Michael Westen: [voiceover] One of the things you give up in intelligence is control over your own schedule. It's a little like being a doctor on call, only your emergencies tend to be thousands of miles away.

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (continuity error): In the previous season Michael sustained a gunshot to the chest - however, in the opening episode of the new season (set 6 months after the gunshot) there is not even a faint scar to be seen when he is wearing no shirt whilst in bed with Fiona.
  • Goof (factual errors): The grenades Michael uses to try to smoke Kessler out of the panic room are fragmentation grenades, not concussion grenades.
  • Goof (factual errors): Michael has cover as Russian FSB agent. When he is given a passport it is a passport of Republic of Serbia.
  • Goof (anachronisms): When Michael is directed to return to Washington DC from Miami, they show an airplane taking off presumably from MIA labeled with NWA, Northwest Airlines, and the pre-merger tail logo. The merger of Northwest and Delta was complete January 31, 2010.
