Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (revealing mistake): When Michael and Sam are making the car bullet resistant, you can see Michael inside and outside of the car at the same time when they're putting on the driver side window which shows Sam's reflection.
- Goof (revealing mistake): When Fiona picks the lock, the cylinder (that the key goes in) doesn't turn, yet the door opens.
- Goof (continuity error): (at around 15 mins) When Fiona is reading Michael's fortune cookie, you see her toss a wrapper and smash the cookie, then a shot over her shoulder of her picking up the fortune, then a cut to a shot from the front where she picks up the fortune again, which she was already holding in the last shot.
- Goof (revealing mistake): When Tony Soto tells Mike that there is a car currently coming up the street to pick him up, you can clearly see that the car starts from a complete stop in the middle of the shot, marking the beginning of the take.
Trivia
- Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell) at one point says "You know, for the kids." This is a direct reference to The Hudsucker Proxy in which Campbell plays a supporting role. The line is a slightly different version of the movie's famous, oft-uttered line: "You know, for kids." Sam says "You know, for THE kids" because he's referring to 2 kids specifically (Corey and Tanya, the kids he's helping out) unlike in 'Hudsucker' where the line refers to kids in general.
- The "phone-book bulletproofing" was tested by Mythbusters (Coll. 7; Ep. 8). They proved that the set-up used would protect from small arms fire used in the ambush scene. (Note: but not against heavy weapons like shotgun slugs or high-powered rifles)
