Summary: Dawn's crush on a football jock named RJ begins to concern Buffy when she notices a drastic change in Dawn's behavior. Believing her sister's actions are borderline obsessive, Buffy decides to have a talk with RJ. However, upon meeting him, she ends up finding herself madly attracted to him as well. Believing that supernatural forces are at play, Anya and Willow take their shot at investigating, only to find themselves the next victims of RJ's love. With all four women willing to go to drastic lengths to prove their undying love for RJ, it is now up to Spike and Xander to get to the bottom of the situation and reverse the spell.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FAKE: Before Xander and Spike ambush R.J., you can see Spike's reflection in a storefront window.
CONT: When Dawn leaves the principal's office, she leaves her bag there. In the next scene, Dawn is walking with her bag.
CREW: At 5:11, as Anya is walking to the refrigerator, she passes a stove with a glass-fronted oven above it, and in the glass you can see the reflection of the cameraman and his assistant.

TRIVIA

During the Season Two episode "Inca Mummy Girl," Devon asks Oz, "What does a girl have to do to impress you," and Oz replies, "Well, it involves a feather boa and the theme to A Summer Place (1959). In this episode, every time a woman is mystically attracted to R. J., he appears to her to move in slow motion while the theme from A Summer Place plays in the background.
