MISTAKES/GOOFS

CREW: When Willow and Oz hug in the van towards the end of the episode, Willow leans forward and the wireless transmitter becomes visible on her lower back.
FAKE: At 9:30, when one of the soldiers is thrown against the trunk of a tree, it wobbles in a way that makes it obvious it is a prop and not a real tree.
CONT: When Buffy and Riley wake up, the bed is lying crooked, but when they stand up the bed is straight again.

TRIVIA

After this episode, in which Willow comes out as a lesbian and chooses to stay with Tara, aired, a group of internet board posters sent show creator Joss Whedon an engraved toaster to thank him for the storyline. This was a reference to the "coming-out" episode of "Ellen" (1994), (a show on which longtime Buffy writer Jane Espenson had also worked) in which there had been a running joke about the GLBT movement awarding every newly out person a toaster for "joining."
