MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: In the previous episode, 'Graduation Day: Part 1', Angel is shot by Faith with a poisonous arrow. The arrow should be around the nipple-area. However, the wound that you can see when he's lying in bed, is much higher, near his shoulder.
CREW: As Angel's group charges into the fight, stage lighting is clearly reflected on the ground.
CONT: At the start of the eclipse during the Mayor's speech, Buffy removes her graduation hat twice, once in the wide shot (her blond hair is visible among the heads), and again in the close-up with Willow.

TRIVIA

The season three finale as delayed for three months after a rash of school violence. The episode (which included a scene in which the graduating class defended themselves with medieval weapons) was pulled reportedly because producers feared that if an incident occurred during a graduation ceremony, a clip would run in "violence in media" clips.
During the Faith/Buffy dream sequence Faith refers to "little miss moppet." This is the first of many references that hint at the eventual appearance of Dawn, Buffy's little sister/the key in season 6.
On the Season 3 DVD, Joss Whedon reveals that since Charisma Carpenter was leaving the series, she asked if Cordelia could kill a vampire during the final battle. She got her wish.
SPOILER: The death of recurring character Larry in this episode, hotly denied by fans, was not confirmed until season six.
