MISTAKES/GOOFS

CREW: During the fight in Faith's apartment, you can see over the top of the set at 37:49 (very briefly), 38:15 and 38:43.
CREW: During the fight at Faith's apartment, when Buffy and Faith crash through the window out onto the roof, there are two quick high-angle shots of the window where you can see the studio's roof structure in the upper left corner of the picture.
FAKE: SPOILER: When Giles stabs the mayor, the sword goes in right at the top button on his shirt. As he staggers back, it is an inch lower, halfway between the top and second buttons, and when he pulls it out it is yet another inch lower, right at the second button. And afterward there is no hole in his shirt.
CONT: When the Mayor comes to visit the Scoobies in the library, the folded newspaper telling of Prof. Worth's death begins the scene left-half-up near the front of the table Buffy is sitting on. It shifts to left-half-down back near Buffy's knee as Giles tells her the correct name for the box of spiders, then back to left-half-up in front. After the Mayor enters the library, it again shifts back by her knee and she hides it at the rear of the table under a book she has been leaning on, next to the sword (épée) Wesley was practicing with. Then, when Giles uses his sword to stab the Mayor, the newspaper is back up front yet again and Buffy is back to leaning on the book, with Wesley's sword still behind her. Finally, as the Mayor leaves and the camera cranes up at the end of the scene, the rear half of the table is suddenly empty (there is no sign of Wesley's sword or the book Buffy was leaning on) and the newspaper is nowhere to be seen.
BOOM: At about 17:08 when Joyce walks through a door saying "Buffy I'm home..." the boom mic sweeps across the top of the shot.
