Episode Quotes
 | Season 2 / Episode 10: - What's My Line? (2)
Xander: [to bug man] Hey, larvae boy! Yeah, that's right, I'm talking to you, you big cootie! |
 | Season 2 / Episode 10: - What's My Line? (2)
Buffy: I woulda kicked your butt in the end, and ya know why? No imagination. Kendra: [getting angry] Really? Ya tink so? Buffy: [condescending] Oh, I know so. You're good, but power alone isn't enough. A good fighter needs to know how to improvise, to go with the flow. Seriously, don't get me wrong, you really do have potential. Kendra: [angry now] Potential? I could wipe the floor with you right now. |

MISTAKES/GOOFS
- CONT: At the Career Fair, when the "Police Woman" calls Buffy's name and Buffy holds up her right hand to acknowledge, she suddenly has a small white bandage covering the tip of her middle finger (it was not there a few seconds earlier when she was talking with Willow and writing her name on the Career Fair sign-up sheet). It remains through the subsequent scenes in the library and Willy's Place, then vanishes for the fight in the church.
- CONT: Buffy is seen using a "steel" to sharpen her knife, while talking to Kendra. During the scene, Buffy puts the knife down and uses the steel to whittle her stake but after a quick cutaway, the knife is back in her hand in the next shot.
- CONT: Early in the episode when Spike brings Angel to Drusilla, he comments that all they need is that night's full moon. Later, Giles reveals that he has figured out what the ritual to restore Drusilla entails; the presence of her sire, Angel, and a new moon.
- FAKE: Immediately after Willy the Snitch turns Angel over to Spike, the view cuts to an exterior "stock" shot of Buffy's house. The house's real-life "1313" address, located on the porch support post to the left of the front steps, is covered up, but the hanging plant that is usually dressed in to obscure it is missing. Also, Buffy's "1630" address, normally dressed onto the porch support post to the right of the front steps, is missing in this shot, and a "1313" placard, usually removed or obscured, has been left hanging in plain view above the front steps. (Later, when Xander and Cordelia come running out, the "1630" is in its usual spot on the right-hand post and the hanging plant is in its usual spot obscuring the left-hand post; the placard is never in the shot.)
- CONT: Cordelia pulls a maggot out of her hair and throws it on a book. Xander closes the book, and in the close-up you can see the front of the book. The next shot, the book is nowhere to be found on the table. [There is a closed book in front of Xander, but it's not the book from the close-up.]
TRIVIA
- The "pink ranger" line has significance beyond being a standard Buffy pop-culture reference. 'Sarah Michelle Gellar' (av)'s stunt double, Sophia Crawford, used to play the pink ranger on _"Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers"_ (1993).
