MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: At the end of the episode Xander reads in the "Sunnydale Press" that the fraternity cult members have been given consecutive life sentences. In reality a criminal trial of this magnitude would take months, if not years, to complete.
FACT: Guest star Greg Vaughan's name is misspelt 'Vaughn' in the opening credits.
CONT: When Buffy is fighting the "giant snake" her shoes are black flats. When she is finished talking with Giles and walking up the stairs her shoes are chunky black heels.

TRIVIA

SPOILER: In the original script, Machida was intended to survive Buffy's attack, however there was not enough time in the production schedule to shoot the final sequence. In the cut sequence the snake body of Machida joins back with its torso and takes Tom as it descends back into the pit.
