A former Confederate army captain seeks his fortune in the West. Bronco was created by Warner Brothers when Cheyenne star Clint Walker walked out when a contract dispute arose and remained away from the Warner Studios until the dispute was settled. Initially, the fledgling Bronco alternated with Cheyenne reruns during the 1958-1959 season. Bronco was a popular show in its day.
