Like many other families in the 80s the Boswells are surviving on government handouts but they try and do so with pride. They know the system inside out and exploit all the loopholes. The head of the household is Nellie Boswell who, as a devout Catholic, demands her family be present at mealtimes. They have four sons and one badly dressed daughter, Aveline, who wants to be a model. | ||||||||||
