Summary: Shirley Schmidt attempts to reason with her kidnapper, the peculiar Lincoln Meyer, who turns out to be significantly more depraved than she realized. Meanwhile, Jerry Espenson's legal skills shine as he and Alan Shore defend a woman accused of killing her ex-girlfriend, and Denny Crane is overcome with jealousy when he catches Jerry and Alan bonding over Scotch and cigars.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

PLOT: SPOILER: During the Erica Dolenz trial, we discover there as an aborted 911 call from Paula Wilkes' apartment. All 911 calls are time "stamped", so the identity of the caller should have been immediately apparent, once compared to the front entrance video logs. (Namely, the call would have been made while the husband was still in the building.)
