Episode Quotes

Dr. Lance Sweets: Hodgins!
Dr. Jack Hodgins: Don't sneak up like that! I could put an eye out on my microscope.
Dr. Lance Sweets: You gotta run!
Special Agent Seeley Booth: You're testing me on the cancer chair?
Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: Well, you're wearing a suit. Plus it's not radioactive anymore... We're going to need to take this chair.
Special Agent Seeley Booth: No. No. No. No. You don't just go around doing human testing on people, Bones!
Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: It's just...
Special Agent Seeley Booth: I gotta go to the bathroom. [Booth leaves]
Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: I touched it with my bare hands... See?
Landis Collar: [Bones and Booth are yelling at each other because they can't hear] You two might want to try resting before communicating. Don't need to be deaf as well as blind.
Special Agent Seeley Booth: WHAT?

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (factual errors): Before the experiment in which Hodgins and Nigel-Murray use liquid nitrogen to freeze a turkey and drop it in order to make the turkey shatter like the victim, Hodgins gives the temperature of the liquid nitrogen in 3 scales: Kelvin, Celsius, and Fahrenheit. Nigel-Murray corrects Hodgins by saying that he doesn't have to say "degrees" for Celsius because it is implied. Nigel-Murray is incorrect, you absolutely do need to say "degrees" when giving a temperature in Celsius, the temperature scale for which you do not need to say "degrees" (and for which Hodgins mistakenly does) is Kelvin.
  • Goof (continuity error): When we meet Dr Beaudette for the first time, his arms are folded across his chest. When the camera cuts to a reverse angle, his hands are on his hips.
