The last season IMHO was the best.A cowardly british officer in WWI, his batman and junior officer striving with all sorts of dodges to get out of the trenches. Brilliant. But all episodes of all four seasons are hilarious. I also thought the Xmas special Time Machine was really good. Please follow the guidelines when posting a review. Thankyou Quark - Moderator |

Excellent british humor!Rowan Atkinson proves that he is far more than just goofy Mr Bean. Hugh Laurie plays also in the third and fourth season, and as always he is great!My favorite brit series! |

Rowan Atkinson is brilliant. He is fully supported by excellent British character actors. The writing is outstanding and the situations, hilarious. There are four series, ranging from the 1500s to WW1. In one, Blackadder is a manic buffoon, in the other series, a sardonic, sarcastic wit. If English is not your first language then it might be difficult to follow all the repartee - but I could be wrong. |

Top show, one of the best to come out of UK. Rowan Atkinson is a genius as well as his supporting cast. A must for any fan of excellent british humor. |

I love it!I agree the first series didn't seem very promissing but afterwords it just started getting better and better. Especially the 3rd series with Hugh Laurie and WW with Rick Mayal. Great! |

Apart from 1st series, marvellous. Don't think that Atkinson has ever done anything as well, or better. |
